Company Profile
The firm originated in 1959 when John W. Prather, Jr., PE and James L. Thomas, AIA formed a partnership to practice together. Soon, Mr. Hal Pridgeon and Mr. Richard E. Campbell joined the firm. These four worked together for many years. Mr. Martin E. Meek joined the firm in 1972. Over the past 43 years the firm has been responsible for designing many projects across the state of SC and the surrounding areas. Martin is the president of the company today.
Architectural and Interior Design commissions have included office buildings, cluster housing, private residences, and military structures. Public schools, and churches. Historic preservation is the specialty of the firm.
Planning commissions have included major urban renewal redevelopment projects for city areas, site analysis and evaluation, environmental impact assessments and survey, historical research and explorations, economic development costs, and cultural and social evaluation studies.
